This is a draft, just a placeholder until we have the rest of our content prepared. The "next" version of this will be on Wordpress and will look 1000% better. My 2026 Resolution is to publish a "proper" blog and ajoining Youtube channel which will focus on mobile accessible travel. I even bought a video camera. Now I just need to figure out how to shoot, edit, publish, promote, manage comments, monetize, affliate link, social media cross-promotion, interview, create graphics, add a theme song....jeez, maybe I will just publish a blog and then take a nap.
Linda—the Mermaid—grew up on the island of Guam, where the ocean shaped her dreams and the wider world called her name. At 19, she joined TWA and launched into a whirlwind of global adventures. By 20, she’d already circled the planet. Even now—despite injuries, genetics, and a streak of bad luck—her wanderlust refuses to quit.
William—the Human—caught the travel bug at 18 and never shook it off. By 22, he’d roamed across Europe and Asia, fueled by curiosity and the belief that every detour leads to a good story.
Now retired, we live a “rotational” life—bouncing between the Americas, Asia, and Europe, collecting friends, cultures, sunsets, and the occasional travel mishap. Together, we’ve racked up 95 years of airline standby travel and we still explore the world despite mobility challenges, often saved by the kindness of strangers who make the journey unforgettable.
Come along for the ride. Browse our photos, peek at our calendar, and—if the tides and tailwinds agree—maybe join us for part of the adventure.
